1.0 Brief description to the process of gypsum drying andcalcining

Four processes are finished in the SD calciner:

1. breaking materials into scattered form

2. drying

3, particle classification

4, calcining

First surface dehydrating and dehydrating partial crystal water to make semi-dehydrated gypsum, the equipment makes the two processes drying and calcining into one step. So that high quality semi-dehydrated gypsum is obtained and the investment is reduced.

After drying, the powder of 2- water calcium sulphate is caught by the catcher then goes into the SD calciner. The powders are flowing, revolving and mixing with high temperature air. Mass and thermal are transferring. During seconds of calcining semi-dehydrated gypsumβCaSO₄·1/2H₂Oforms. After the separation between the gas and solid, the powders of the gypsum being wind cooling and averaging transfers to the store bunker in the end.

The products reaches the national standards of building gypsum. It can be used in boards and bricks making and as cement additives.

3.0 production line of crude gypsum

The basis of gypsum ore is two-water calcium sulphate (CaSO4·2H2O). Getting high quality gypsum powder of βstyle (βCaSO4·1/2H2O) has fore processes of breaking, fine grinding, calcining and averaging.
